IF 289 - Interiors Exploration: New York City(1/1) Prerequisites: Department Consent Required. – Classes and appointments during a stay in New York City provide for acquisition of first-hand knowledge of the interior furnishings industry and an opportunity for cultural enrichment. Students attend an orientation seminar, visit furniture, textile and accessory showrooms, visit a New York design studio and a museum, and complete a comparative merchandising analysis based on detailed observations.
