Prerequisites: A placement test or successful completion (“C-” or higher in ES 112) is required to place students in this class – The focus of this class is on writing an essay. Students will learn how to write an essay with an introduction, thesis, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Students will also study various grammatical points and apply them to their writing.
