Academic Program Code:  006

This degree is designed for students who wish to earn an associate degree. This degree is not meant to be used as a transfer degree and does not meet the requirements for the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA). This degree allows students the opportunity to take a minimal number of general education classes and explore a vast array of electives to round out the required 60 credits.

General Education Courses


Select a minimum of 15 credit hours from the English Composition, Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Science & Mathematics, and Wellness courses.

Select one Humanities Electives from the following courses.

History


For students who are in the 2016-2017 catalog year, a History course can now meet either a Humanities or Social Sciences requirement.  Please note each History course can only count as either a Humanities or Social Science, not both.

All students must take PS 110 to graduate.

Once you have selected your English Composition, Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Science & Mathematics and Wellness courses, you can take any other GRCC courses to complete your degree.  The maximum number of elective credit hours needed to graduate is 45.
