Corequisites: None Description: This course is designed for non-science majors and some medical curriculum students. Its purpose is to give students a better understanding of the relationship between science, technology, and the environment. Topics include measurement, bonding, molecular interactions, stoichiometry, acids and bases, and nuclear chemistry. Topics related to organic chemistry and biochemistry are introduced. The laboratory is designed to reinforce lecture concepts and provide hands-on learning experiences.
