College Level Prerequisites: None Description: This course is a basic introduction to computer program writing that emphasizes the importance of design and coordinating procedures to accomplish programming objectives. Topics include definitioning variables, problem solving using if else, do while and for statements, the programming process, and program design tools. After solid preparation, students begin to write programs in a structured pattern of modules. This course prepares students to transition to high level programming languages.
