Description: WST 200 is an interdisciplinary introduction to Women’s Studies and explores the broad dimensions, principles, and theories of the field by investigating the shaping of gender roles, behaviors, and expectations as evidenced in literature, social sciences, natural sciences, religion and philosophy. The course enhances students’ critical awareness of how gender operates in institutional and cultural contexts and in their own lives. This course welcomes all students.
