College Level Prerequisites: None Description: This course is an introduction to geologic principles and current environmental issues related to geology. It is designed for non-science majors and as an elective for geology majors. Topics include plate tectonics, mineral and energy resources, and geologic hazards such as volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, and landslides.
