College Level Prerequisites: None Description: This course introduces the student to the exciting world of entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial process from both a historical and a research perspective. The role and nature of entrepreneurship as a mechanism for creating new ventures and affecting economic development are presented. This course will introduce important concepts in entrepreneurship and help the student see the entrepreneurial process through the eyes of the entrepreneur. Students will delve into the financial and psychological characteristics of entrepreneurs. In this course students will also investigate viable new ventures.
