College Level Prerequisites: None Description: In this course students learn guidelines for the planning and designing of a home suitable to sustainable living. During the design process, students analyze the building site, use sustainable technology and materials, and apply building codes and residential construction techniques. Students use Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Building Information Modeling (BIM) to generate a plot plan, floor plans, framing plan, elevations, wall section, stairway details, interior elevations, and a pictorial rendering.
