Pre-Optometry, A.A. (Ferris State University)

This program is designed for students wanting to apply to the Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) program at Ferris State University (FSU), which does not require a Bachelor’s degree for admission. In addition, students have the opportunity to earn a B.S. in Vision Science upon completion of their first year of the Doctor of Optometry program. Upon completion of this pre-major, students will be eligible to receive an A.A. from GRCC and will have the 90 credits required for application to the Doctor of Optometry program at FSU. This pre-major will also help aid students in preparing to take the OAT exam.

Graduates of this program will earn an Associate of Arts degree from GRCC and may be eligible to earn the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) credential. General Education Courses
