Prerequisites: CO 212 Digital Biometric Security is a core course in the Information Security degree. It involves the science of recognizing humans based on one or more intrinsic physical or behavioral traits, such as fingerprint, iris, vocal, and retinal characteristics. In this course, students will be able to identify the various biometric techniques used for information security. Students will learn how the methods are implemented, how accurate they are, and how they are applied in user authentication scenarios.
