WE 192 - Camping and Canoeing

Prerequisites: Must be able to swim – Basic elements of camping skills are taught and explored in this class. Equipment selection and use are reviewed, as well as learning how to cook with few utensils. Basic water and camping safety, as well as basic canoeing strokes will be learned and practiced. Two day canoe trip down a Michigan river with one overnight camp out.
