WE 129 - Water Aerobics

Water Aerobics is designed to emphasize the importance of physical fitness through water exercises. The benefits of swimming, proper exercise alignment, and various creative exercise techniques will be incorporated into this class. Underwater exercises will help students strengthen muscles, relax strained muscles, and improve muscle function. This course is ideal for individuals who can not participate in high impact classes due to health concerns, or for students who want to learn the benefits of aerobic exercise through water. Wellness concepts will also be discussed in this class.
