This course includes a consideration of some basic problems of philosophy, philosophic, rationalistic and scientific knowledge, the mind and body, the nature of humanity and self-identity, and values in human conduct from the point of view of historical and contemporary schools of philosophy. Recommended Skills: 1. A competence in reading and comprehending scholastic material, 2. Competence in communicating effectively in both writing and oral situations, 3. Critical thinking abilities.
