HVA 111 - Refrigeration Applications


Description
Students study, in detail, refrigeration system components and their operation. Emphasis is placed on all temperature ranges of equipment using different refrigerant types. Students fabricate a complete refrigeration system from individual components.

  5. Develop a process to test thermostatic expansion valves and proper compressor operation and replacement.
  6. For refrigeration, evacuate and charge the system and reclaim/recycle materials.
  7. Fabricate a basic refrigeration system.
