ARW 100 - Academic Reading and Writing Credit Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 4 Prerequisites/Other Requirements:
- SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing less than 390 OR
- Blackboard (English) Assessment of 10 OR
- ACT English and Reading Combined Scores of 25 or lower OR
- Accuplacer - Writing Scores 1-3

Corequisites: EN 101 Description: This is a 3 credit/4 contact hour course that is independently paired with EN 101 , meaning that students enrolled in ARW 100 are also concurrently enrolled in EN 101 . ARW 100 introduces students to the demands and conventions of academic reading and writing. Thus, this course focuses on developing and strengthening students’ ability to read critically, summarize, and analyze various college-level texts used in different disciplines and writing situations.
