MUS 215 - Aural Comprehension III

Prerequisites/Other Requirements: C or Higher in the following courses: MUS 114  and MUS 116

Description: This course is an advanced continuation of the aural skills learned in MUS 116 . Emphasis is on singing, aural identification and dictation of scales, intervals, harmonic progressions, melodic patterns, rhythmic patterns, triads and seventh chords. Development of intermediate sight singing techniques as well as skills in notating performed melodic and harmonic musical examples also occurs.  Additional practice is required outside of class.
