Corequisites: None Description: If you are serious about a career in the culinary world, Restaurant Sanitation and Safety is your first essential step. In this course, you will learn how to prevent foodborne illnesses, master safe food handling, and understand the Michigan Food Law—all critical for running a safe and successful kitchen. You will also prepare for the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification exam, which is required to move forward in the program.
