College Level Prerequisites: None Description: Introductory Arabic is a beginning-level course in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). MSA is the language used throughout the Arab world: the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, and North Africa. Although dialects in each region differ, MSA unites all Arabs and allows them to communicate with each other. This course offers instruction and practice in the four language skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
