MUS 120 - Introduction to Piano

Description: This class is for the student with no prior music reading experience. It is taught with the assumption that the student has never played the piano and has no prior formal piano study. The emphasis is on introducing basic concepts of notation, musicianship, keyboard geography, and technique. This class meets for two hours per week. This course was formerly offered as MU 169.
