College Level Prerequisites: None Description: This course will provide the student with knowledge and experience in solving common issues encountered running injection molding production equipment. The student will relate machine control parameters to their effect on processes and part quality. The student will set-up processes using different molds in injection molding machines, students duplicate industrial standards to obtain the highest quality parts with the shortest possible cycle times. Added emphasis will be placed on troubleshooting and process optimization.
