Description: MA 096 is a one-semester review of pre-algebra concepts. Topics include percent, signed numbers, applications of introductory geometry, measurement, statistics, an introduction to polynomial expressions, solving linear equations, linear relationships and square roots. Work is done both with and without a calculator. MA 095 is a pre-requisite course. Recommended Skills: Reading level of 94 or higher on LOEP or successful completion of ES 123 with C- or higher.
