College Level Prerequisites: None Description: Macroeconomics is the study of the performance of national economies and the policies that governments use to try to improve their performance. The basic tools of economic reasoning are introduced. Macroeconomic data are examined along with the national goals of full-employment, price stability and economic growth. The causes of macrofailure are considered and used to analyze the uses of fiscal and monetary policy.
