CHM 210 - Inorganic, Organic, and Biochemistry Credits: 4 Contact Hours: 6 Prerequisites: CHM 100 (C- or Higher) or CHM 110 (C- or Higher)

College Level Prerequisites: None Description: CHM 210 is designed to introduce students to selected topics in general, organic, and biological chemistry. This course serves students who are applying to the Dental Hygiene Program and some transfer allied health students. Emphasis is on measurement, bonding, acids and bases, and the classes, physical properties, and reactivity of organic molecules. These concepts are applied to the study of biomolecules and the biological pathways. This course is offered in Fall during the day and Winter during the evening.
