College Level Prerequisites: None Description: Chemistry for non-science majors and some medical curriculum students designed to give students a better understanding of the relationship between science, technology, and the environment. Topics include chemical reactions, energy, organic chemistry, nuclear chemistry, acids and bases, and biochemistry. The laboratory is designed to introduce and reinforce lecture concepts. 4 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory. Offered Fall, Winter and Summer semesters.
