College Level Prerequisites: None Description: Biology 121 is the first of a two-semester course sequence. This course covers a structural and functional approach to human biology with an emphasis upon cell biology, tissues and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and an introduction to the endocrine system. This course satisfies the general education requirements for natural science and is required for most allied health and medically related fields such as nursing, radiology and dental hygiene. The course consists of 3 hours of lecture and 2 hours of laboratory. Recommended Skills: C or better in high school chemistry or CHM 100 .
