The Web/UX Design and Development degree prepares students to plan and produce user-centered interactive experiences using a combination of theory, hands-on practice and practical project development. Students utilize UX design processes, including understanding users and developing wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows, while constructing websites using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Choice in electives allows for further exploration into full-stack development, UX Research, and Graphic Design.

 

Program Learning Outcomes:

  1. Understand the principles and best practices of UI/UX design for the web, including usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
  2. Be able to design and prototype user interfaces for web applications and websites using industry-standard tools and techniques.
  3. Understand and apply HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create functional and interactive web pages and applications.
  4. Understand and apply principles of project management, including agile development methodologies, to plan and execute web design projects from conception to deployment.
  5. Understand and apply principles of teamwork and collaboration, including communicating effectively with clients and team members, to successfully deliver web design projects.
