Corequisites: None Description: This course provides an introduction to computer programming with emphasis on program design and the coordination of procedures to achieve programming objectives. Topics include variables, data types, decision and loop structures, functions, data collections, the programming process, and foundational object-oriented concepts. Through hands-on problem solving, students develop the logical thinking and structured programming skills needed to transition to more advanced programming courses.
