Ladder to what is next in degree pathway

GRCC’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Certificate is a comprehensive program focused on preparing students for the exciting and rapidly evolving world of AI. The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to cover essential aspects of AI, ranging from machine learning models and data-driven decision-making to the ethical considerations of AI applications.

While in this program, students will gain hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating machine learning models that will prepare them to address real-world challenges and make informed decisions.  Students will learn to integrate diverse AI technologies, including natural language processing and computer vision, into practical solutions tailored to various industries.  As well, students will develop advanced programming skills using languages commonly employed in AI development, ensuring that they can code, optimize, and troubleshoot AI algorithms effectively.  Additionally, this course will enable students to acquire a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, enabling them to analyze and interpret data critically and make informed, data-driven decisions in AI applications.  Equally important, students will understand the ethical considerations and responsible practices in AI development and deployment, ensuring students are equipped to address issues related to biases, privacy concerns, and societal impacts.

Upon completion of the Certificate in Artificial Intelligence, students would be prepared for entry-level roles such as Machine Learning Engineer, AI Developer, and Business Intelligence Analyst.
