|
The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) is designed to facilitate the transfer of general education requirements from community colleges to four year colleges and universities within Michigan.
Students can view a list of participating institutions or learn more about the MTA by going online at www.grcc.edu/MTA
The MTA requirements should fulfill all or the majority of the student’s lower level general education requirements dependent on the requirements of their major.
To fulfill the MTA, students must complete a total of 30 credits in English Composition and Communications, Humanities, Social Science, and Natural Science & Mathematics from the approved list below. Students must receive a grade of C or higher in each course in order to be awarded the MTA. Students may use credit earned at another institution to fulfill an MTA distribution area (below) for courses that met the general education or MTA requirements at the institution where the credits were earned.
