Producing quality products or services is a critical part of a successful business in today’s advanced, face paced environment. The term “quality” is broad and is integral in many industries across the globe. From manufacturing to customer service to automation to medical, all types of business have the common thread of producing a quality product or service. Students at GRCC will learn many different techniques and processes to directly apply these skills to their jobs. These skills will allow a deeper understanding of how to develop, improve, and implement new processes to improve quality. Some of those skills will be geometric tolerancing, experimental design, quality assurance, statistical process control, gauging, problem solving methodology, blueprint reading.
This certificate was designed to work with the student who has a full-time career or at-home obligations to provide the student with the skills they need for an advanced career. The certificate was designed for the student who has started down the quality career path but does not have formalized training and the already degreed student who may be working in quality but does not have formal quality training. This certificate can be completely earned online if the student chooses that pathway.
