Manufacturing Apprenticeship Certificate


Academic Program Code: 954

The GRCC Manufacturing Certificate is designed for employed students who are pursing employer sponsored education.  Students in this program work with their employer and the GRCC Apprecticeship Coordinator to design a program of study that aligns with their education needs.  In order to earn a Certificate in this program from GRCC, students must complete a minimum of 16 credit hours of approved coursework.  

Common coursework includes, but is not limited to, manufacturing and technology subject areas such as AR, DR, EG, EL, ER, HVA, MN, TE, TM and AUT-previsously TR.

Many apprenticeship opportunies are aligned with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). DOL apprenticeships may have additional requirments that must be met.

This program is not approved for Federal Financial Aid.

Program Courses


Must include a minimum of 16 credits in manufacturing and technology related courses (AR, DR, EG, EL, ER, HVA, MN, TE, TM, AUT-previously TR) as identified by employer needs and prescribed by the Manufacturing Apprenticeship Coordinator. Other course pre-fixes may be accepted based on employer needs.
