Architectural Technology, A.A.A.S. (Ferris State University-Construction Management)

This program is designed to complete an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences in Architectural Technology at GRCC and transfer to Ferris State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. The architectural technology program builds skills in basic construction and materials, building specification and codes, and architectural drawing interpretation and documentation. Graduates of the FSU Construction Management program are prepared to manage and supervise the complete construction process from initial considerations through bidding to final completion.

Select one (1) Humanities General Education Elective. You should select a course in alignment with FSU “Culture” General Education courses.

Select one (1) Social Sciences General Education Elective. You should select a course in alignment with FSU “Self and Society” General Education courses.

Other courses that can be used to meet the MA 129  requirement include MA 131  and MA 133 .

University/College Admissions Requirements


To be admitted to this degree program, students must have completed either an Associate Degree or at least 30 transferable semester credit hours (“C” or Higher on a 4.0 scale) from an accredited college or university, combined college or university GPA of 2.35 (on a 4.0 scale) from all institutions attended (GPA is based on completion of 12 credit hours or more), credit for, or placement into, Ferris ENGL 150 (GRCC transfer equivalent is EN 100 or EN 101 ), completion of Ferris MATH 120 (GRCC transfer equivalent is MA 108 ), completion of AR 103 , AR 105 , AR 106 , AR 125 , AR 129 , AR 201  through GRCC or equivalent, and official transcripts from all accredited colleges and universities must be submitted with the Ferris State University application.

Transfer Notes


It is recommended that students meet with an advisor to review the requirements for this articulated program and have any questions about transfer answered prior to completing this degree program at GRCC. Ferris State University will accept courses taken at GRCC as outlined in the program agreement.
