The Elementary Education Curriculum is designed to prepare students to assume teaching responsibilities in self-contained classrooms in grades K-5 all subjects, 6-8 in content area majors or minors. This is accomplished by completing the Pre-Elementary Education, A.A. at GRCC in the first two years and transferring seamlessly to Western to complete the final two years of the program.
