Description: This course prepares students to create captivating imagery in a professional studio environment. Following industry standards, students will learn best practices for studio lighting equipment with an emphasis on personal and equipment safety procedures. Students will utilize a variety of lighting equipment including constant and strobe lighting systems and related accessories. Lighting theory is expanded upon from PO 102 while exploring lighting for portraiture, still life, product, and experimental applications in contemporary fine art and commercial contexts.
