Description: This course elevates the photographic fundamentals taught in PO 101, Photography I, with an emphasis on technical and creative excellence in preparation for upper division courses. The fundamentals of lighting theory are introduced and explored through the use of constant LED, and small strobe lighting equipment both on and off-camera. Students are introduced to Adobe Photoshop and the digital inkjet printing process. Required equipment: digital camera (interchangeable lenses, RAW format capable, and a functional hot shoe), memory card, portable USB storage device.
