Corequisites: None Description: This course is a continuation of MUS 213. It is a study of the harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic materials frequently found in art music from the late 19th and 20th centuries, focusing on early post-tonal techniques, triadic post-tonality, set-class theory, serialism, expansions of music temporality, and significant post-1945 techniques.
