- Analyze the relative importance of plot, characters, and theme in a preselected play script and research the special topics relevant to it.
- Conceptualize a play in a way that inspires and directs creativity of other artists.
- Describe characters based on sociological, psychological, and physiological qualities and note their transformation throughout the script.
- Transfer knowledge of characters to actors through the blocking phase of the directing process.
- Develop a director’s prompt book.
