AUT 272 - Automotive Technology Applied Service and Management II

Students will prepare an employment resume and a sample job application.  Job interviewing skills and strategies will be examined and discussed.

1. Perform ASE tasks, as assigned, from the ASE MASTER Task List
2. Perform vehicle inspections using digital inspection software
3. Compose accurate and comprehensive text describing vehicle diagnosis and repair for the Cause and Correction sections of an automotive repair order
4. Identify and locate vehicle components and systems related to Air Conditioning and Heating, Automatic Transmissions, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Engine Performance, Engine Repair, Manual Transmissions and Axles,  and Suspension and Steering Systems
5. Demonstrate competency completing ASE MASTER tasks related to Air Conditioning and Heating, Automatic Transmissions, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Engine Performance, Engine Repair, Manual Transmissions and Axles,  and Suspension and Steering Systems
6. Demonstrate team leadership and self-management skills related to work as an automotive technician
7. Prepare a resume and job application checklist
8. Discuss job interview strategies
