CVT 207 - Intro to Electrophysiology Description This course provides foundational concepts of diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology. Students will learn about testing and diagnosis of conditions effecting the electrical conductivity of the heart. This course will explain pharmacological and other therapeutic interventions to treat and manage conditions related to cardiac electrophysiology. - Indicate steps for pulmonary vein angioplasty due to complications from radio-frequency ablation (RFA).
- Distinguish drug infusion testing for diagnosis of Brugada Syndrome and also in appropriate sinus tachycardia.
