Key topics include ethical conduct, effective communication with students and colleagues, advocacy, and upholding high standards of instruction in the classroom. Students will create a reflective professional portfolio that showcases their early childhood teaching skills and educational development. Additionally, the course will explore the educator’s code of conduct, emphasizing issues such as confidentiality, appropriate family-educator partnerships, and the importance of self-reflection.
