POL 100 - Wellness and Tactics I


Description
This course provides an overview of the role of wellness and fitness in the job of a law enforcement officer.  Students learn the association of health and fitness with safety and tactics. In addition to wellness, students will learn safe and tactical approaches to confrontation situations, the mechanics of arrest, and application of subject control.  This course is the first of a two course sequence.
