II. The Sixteenth and early Seventeenth Centuries
A. Read and analyze a diverse body of published works from the Sixteenth and early Seventeenth centuries to discuss
1. Elements of craft and genre
2. Social, cultural, historical, political, and religious influences
B. Compare published works of this and other era as a means of understanding commonalities and differences among ideas and perspectives in Great Britain across time
C. Produce texts that interpret, analyze, or creatively represent the published works of the Sixteenth and early Seventeenth centuries
III. The Restoration and Eighteenth Century
