EN 235 - Drama Description This course is an introduction to drama as an important art form and as a literary text, using masterpieces by ancient through contemporary playwrights. Plays are selected for their artistic merit and for their place in the historical development of drama; the class covers a variety of genres and introduces students to scholarly criticism, as well as motifs typical of dramatic texts.
