EL 164 - Programmable Logic Controllers


Description
Students learn and apply the basic concepts of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in this course to gain an understanding of hardware components, programming techniques, installation, and maintenance of complete systems.  Students will gain hands-on experience in programming PLCs.

Students who complete this course and EL 166  are eligible to take the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies (PMMI) Mechatronics Level 1 Programmic Logic Controller 1 Certification exam.
