This course introduces concepts and features of BIM and basic architectural terminology. It includes software structure and features, modeling and editing techniques, and sheet creation and organization. This is a starter course in the Architectural Programs. A. Create a floor plan with walls.
B. Add door and windows and roofs and floors to walls.
C. Add stairs and railings to model.
D. Add furniture and equipment to model.
II. Add Detail Information to Model.
A. Add dimensions and annotation to floor plans and elevation.
B. Cut sections and add detail information to section.
C. Add door, room, and window information to schedules,
III. Learn how to create a building rendering.
A. Add and adjust cameras.
B. Add entourage and plantings to models.
C. Render the building and create image files.
IV. Create Drawings.
A. Use BIM to generate the 2D Drawing Set.
