2. Demonstrate correct use of vocabulary related to color concepts and theories.
3. Demonstrate successful painting in a series of color exercises relating to basic color vocabulary, concepts and theories and executed in the form of a color workbook.
4. Apply color theory and design principals with skill and sensitivity in the creation of painted projects dealing with value and color perception, spatial relationships and three-dimensional form.
5. Identify colors visually and with accuracy to solve problems based upon Josef Albers and Johannes Itten’s relational color principles.
6. Analyze projects effectively in group and individual oral and written critiques.
7. Express appreciation of diversity through critiques.
8. Maintain a disciplined work ethic and manage time constructively by completing work on time.
9. Identify the best solution to a problem or issue.
10. Use creativity and alternative thinking to brainstorm new ideas and possible solutions to problems or issues.
11. Complete work accurately with attention to detail.
