2. Correctly follow the drawing process through the sequential steps of thumbnail sketches to the final product.

3. Identify solutions through the understanding of basic design principles, concepts, and media.

VI. Planar Analysis - shape and plane, structural line

VII. Value - six categories of light, value scales, local value, additive technique (render, parallel line, cross-hatch), additive and subtractive technique

VIII. Portraiture - measurement, proportion of the human head
