Description: This course provides an introduction to behavioral neuroscience: the scientific study of the biological processes that underline our behavior and psychological experiences. Topics include the structure and organization of the nervous system, neural function and communication, research methods of behavioral neuroscience, mechanisms of sensory processing and motor control, homeostatic regulation, learning and memory, psychopharmacology, and psychiatric disorders.
