Corequisites: MA 93 if ALEKS score of 0-13 Description: This course is an introduction to mathematical reasoning. It helps students develop mathematical competency and literacy. The course is tailored to fit the needs of students who are preparing for non-stem pathways. The course seeks to develop and enhance problem-solving capabilities, enable students to apply simple mathematical models as a means of solving real-world problems, and become more competent mathematically through the exercise of critical thinking, the application of mathematical concepts, and problem-solving skills. This course is not intended to prepare students for MA 107 Intermediate Algebra.
